DO YOU WORK WITH ASSISTANTS OR OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

Usually, yes! A second shooter is included in all of my wedding packages with the exception of local half day weddings. Second shooters are be a great addition if you're having a bigger wedding with a longer timeline, because it gives me the ability to essentially be in two places at once! Having a second shooter will also up-level your gallery by adding different perspectives throughout your wedding day, which is why I include one in most of my packages! Any second shooter I hire will be someone I’ve worked with before and who has a similar shooting style to me. This way I can ensure that your gallery looks cohesive!

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
I believe that a huge part of the storytelling process is in curation. I want each image in your gallery to feel like an individual piece of artwork, rather than a folder full of digital noise. The number of photos delivered is based heavily on your timeline and activities. I don't have a specific minimum or maximum number of images I deliver, but it is usually somewhere between 50-60 photos per hour of shooting. 


WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
Typically, photo sessions take 3-5 weeks and weddings take about 10-12 weeks. I always try to get galleries back as soon as possible so that you can enjoy your photos, while also ensuring that I give the proper time to each and every image.


DO YOU GIVE RAW UNEDITED IMAGES?
Nope! I believe that editing is half of the magic that goes into taking your photos. I've never outsourced my editing, nor have I ever delivered unedited photos. Without this step, your photos are only halfway done; a huge piece of the storytelling we work to create is done in post-processing! I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed a certain photo, just ask!


HOW DO PAYMENT SCHEDULES WORK?
I require a 30% retainer to secure your spot on my calendar for all weddings and elopements, and the remaining balance is set up in a payment plan! This is 25% mid-project, 25% a month before your wedding, and the remaining 20% is due the day before your wedding!

For portrait sessions, I require a 30% retainer and final balance is due 1 day before the shoot date!


HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE REACH OUT TO BOOK YOU?
I typically book U.S. and international weddings 10-18 months in advance and portrait sessions 1-4 months in advance, based on availability around my wedding schedule. That being said, reach out no matter how “last minute” your event is, and I might be able to fit you in! 


WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
We live in Denver, CO, but absolutely love to travel! Our bags are always packed and we'll travel anywhere in the U.S., even international! I love filling up our schedule with new locations, so no matter how far away or how crazy of a location you have in mind, we'll be there!


WHAT IF WE NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING?
If you've already officially booked me and you need to move or cancel your wedding, the retainer is non-refundable and a new retainer will have to be made in order to hold your new date.


WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues who I trust and who has a shooting style similar to mine. They will act as an associate shooter, which means I will be given the RAW images to edit in my style so that you still get the photos that you've been dreaming of!

WE’RE AWKWARD AND ALL YOUR COUPLES LOOK LIKE MODELS. HOW WILL YOU GET GOOD PHOTOS OF US?
Would you believe me that I've never had a couple who HASN'T said this to me!? Trust me, you are not alone! Hopefully this makes you feel better, but none of the couples I've ever photographed were models, nor have had any modeling experience. It's all about the posing and the vision. I strive to make the process extremely relaxed and comfortable for you! I don't want you to have to worry about standing perfectly, tilting your head just right, getting the hand placement in the right spot, or anything else silly like that. I'm here to capture your connection with one another. It's not something all photographers can do, but it's something I strive to achieve at every session and wedding. So don't worry, I will guide you the entire time and your photos will come out just as beautifully!
